Mo Gilligan

British stand-up comedian, presenter and content creator Mo Gilligan returns to the Netherlands in October 2026. On Friday, 16 October, he brings his latest show, The Mo You Know, to Theater Amsterdam, showcasing once again why he has become one of the biggest names in British comedy.

The three-time BAFTA winner is taking The Mo You Know on his biggest world tour to date, with shows across the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the Middle East and Europe, as well as multiple dates across the UK.

Named “The Funniest Man in Britain” by The Times, Gilligan has built an impressive career both on stage and on screen. His first stand-up tour sold out completely, including a two-week residency in London’s West End. The show became his first Netflix Original, Momentum, which was released worldwide.

In 2021, he returned to the stage with There’s Mo to Life. The tour was another sell-out success, including ten shows at the Hammersmith Eventim Apollo and a landmark performance at London’s O2 Arena. His second Netflix special followed in 2022 and received widespread critical acclaim.

Beyond stand-up, Gilligan is known for his multi-award-winning entertainment show The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan. The programme earned him his first BAFTA for Best Entertainment Performance in 2020, followed by another BAFTA in 2022.
